A few words about me
The founder
I am the author of My Life Boat (2025) and founder of the My Life Boat® Life Review Practice in Geneva.
My professional life has taken me across continents and cultures. I began my career as an educator and went on to spend 28 years with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), working in Mozambique, Switzerland, the United States, and Zambia. Along the way, I studied Mathematics and Psychology, pursued graduate work in Curriculum Design and Teaching, and specialized in children's rights.
Beyond my international career, I have been a mother, wife, single working mother, friend, and social activist. Each of these experiences has shaped my understanding of life in different ways. Born in the Philippines, I went on to live in four other countries and travel to many more. Navigating my own life has fueled my interest in how people navigate the many dimensions of life and make sense of the stories they are living.
This led to My Life Boat (2025), a practical framework for looking at life as a whole. The book also became the foundation for the My Life Boat® Life Review, a structured, non-prescriptive process that gives people an opportunity to pause, reflect, and gain greater clarity about where they are in life and where they wish to go.
Today, I live in Geneva, where I continue to develop the My Life Boat framework, write, and work with people through Life Review.
